The Chapel

Through the metal grid you can see the Pietà, a plaster sculpture of Mary, the mother of Jesus, mourning her crucified son.

The rear wall of the chapel is painted blue inside, and over the head of Maria is painted a golden circle of stars. Once there was an inscription under the Pietà which said 'Pray for us'.
