The Rotunda

Over the years, nature has reclaimed several areas of the landscape garden. The shady viewing rotunda once offered a view onto the valley of the Birs with Arlesheim and the vineyards.

A nature garden of this style was often designed in a way that constantly altered the viewers experience from views in the distance to views close at hand.
